Preview:
The Delaware Thunder are coming off two close games in Danbury. Unfortunately for the Thunder, they could not come away with a victory in either game. They did take some positives from the weekend. The Thunder scored 4 goals in each game after struggling to find the back of the net the prior weekend in Watertown. A big part of the Thunder’s offense this weekend was a recent addition, Eli Kinsman. Kinsman scored in his first period with the team and added a couple of assists on the weekend as well. Kinsman and the Thunder look to break their winless streak.
The Dashers are led by their star forward Fred Hein. Hein was with the Dashers last season putting up some impressive numbers. He tallied 28 goals and 27 assists last season and is on pace to better those numbers this season. Danville has gotten impressive goaltending from Jesse Gordichuk. Gordichuk is 8-5 on the season with a .933 save percentage and 2.53 goals-against average. Danville is playing their best hockey of the season. Delaware will have a tall task coming up.
